| Dahuting Han Tomb |
|
Located at the place 15 km away from the southwest of Zhengzhou, there
are 2 paratactic tombs standing with over 1800 years of history. The
western tomb is large and was built in the brick & stone including
7 rooms, which is 25.16 meters long & 17.8 meters wide, its middle
room is 4.88 meters high with 0.5 -meter-thick paved coal. In the
western tomb, there are rich figures and stone cuttings which is special
in sculpture characteristics. The east tomb is small and most of the
fresco imitate the manor life of tomb owner including getting rent,
sitting cooking, welcoming guests, banquet, dancing, singing, acting
in a Chinese opera, fortune-telling, the traveling of chariot &
horses and handmaidens, etc. |
